Home Page
This is the home of the South Downs Railway - a fictitious, modern image (ish) railway set in southern England modelled in N gauge. The layout is 15 x 10 feet (5x3m). It is DCC controlled, with the ambition of being automatically controlled.
The layout currently has its "main" track loop completed: this is a "folded dog bone" arrangement around 3 and a half sides of a rectangle. Two stations and an oil terminal still need to be added. |

SearchingThe web site can be searched: type a search term (e.g. "DAC10") into the search box on the right hand side of the header, and hit enter. the search engine will find words matching the search string in the main body of the site, but it won't search attached documents (e.g. the product manuals). Font SizeThis website offers some help for accessibility. There are three symbols on the top right of the header that allow the font size to be increased or decreased. Choose a size that you find comfortable. "A+" increases the size; "A" sets the default size, and "A-" chooses a smaller size. "Read More"Many articles are displayed one after the other. some are quite short, and say "read more" at the bottom. Click that to read the remainder of the article. |
